Situated on the edge of the magnificent Chatsworth Estate, this stunning Derbyshire manor house with its beautiful private grounds lends itself admirably to stylish wedding receptions.
We have a wedding licence to hold Civil Marriage and Partnership Ceremonies within Baslow Hall for between 2-38 guests. We have three rooms licenced for Ceremonies – The Drawing Room, The Oak Panelled Hall and The Study.
We have a choice of bedrooms which are ideal for the Bride, Bridesmaids and other guests to stay the night before the Wedding.
Wedding Parties generally have exclusive use of our extensive grounds for photographs and for enjoying canapés and an aperitif following the Ceremony.
All that we ask is that children are supervised by an adult whilst in the garden.
For a day-time Wedding, please be aware that as a general rule the house must be vacated by 5.00pm. Evening celebrations can be held here, but normally entails hiring the house and all 11 bedrooms on an ‘exclusive use’ basis.
