A wonderful opportunity for guests to discover unusual foods from Baslow Hall gardens and enjoy food sourced from the Peak District


Dr. Patrick Harding is a freelance broadcaster, author and popular speaker presenting illustrated talks to a wide range of societies. He has written 8 books and has made many media appearances include ‘The Flying Gardener’, ‘Castle in the Country’ (three series), ‘Richard and Judy’, ‘BBC Breakfast’, ‘The Natural History of Christmas’, ‘Britain’s Best Wildlife: Nature’s Top 40′, Radio 4 ‘Up Country’ and Radio 2 Chris Evans.
Format for the Day
Arrival at 10.30 a.m. for coffee and biscuits
10.45 a.m. Illustrated talk “Foraging for Food from the Countryside”
11.45 a.m. Foray with Patrick in and around the grounds of Baslow Hall
1.00 p.m. 3 course special lunch including food gathered in the Baslow Hall garden and the countryside
