In 1988 Max & I bought this beautiful house as a fitting setting for our successful restaurant business with the added benefit of bedrooms for overnight guests.
Standing at the end of a winding chestnut-tree-lined driveway, on the edge of the Chatsworth Estate, the house enjoys an enviable location surrounded by some of the country's finest stately homes.
By avoiding the standard 'Country House' approach to the interior, we have put together a very personal collection of furniture and pictures that reflects our own individual tastes.
The result is, we think, an atmosphere of comfort and character that retains the elegance of bygone days when Baslow Hall was a private residence. Whether you come to stay overnight or visit us in search of quality food in beautiful surroundings, you will be a most welcome guest.
